To get the history of Moo Moo Networks, you have to go back over a decade to 2006. Then, we were just a small MSP, supporting businesses around the New York and New Jersey area. When we heard of the think-tank product out of the MIT labs called Meraki we knew we had to get our hands on it and try the new gear.
Starting when Meraki only had two products - the Mini at $49 and the Mini Outdoor at $99 - we began trialing these new, ground breaking devices in our network. We quickly saw how the Meraki Mini and Meraki Mini Outdoor changed our workflows quickly. We no longer needed controllers, VPNs, or local configurations to manage our distributed wireless networks.
We thought it couldn't get better, but it could. Soon after, Meraki launched their newest innovation: the Meraki Solar. This freed our clients from the bounds of their electrical constraints of their facilities, allowing us to extend the mesh network anywhere and everywhere with just a Meraki Solar and a Meraki Outdoor. Oh yeah, and did we mention it wasn't even 2007 yet?
Fast forward 10 years, and we've installed thousands of Meraki devices in hundreds of networks stretching from coast-to-coast. Still a small team with no sales department - only helpdesk and technical engineers - we're able to grow our network of clients with one thing: our love for Meraki.
The flexibility of the Meraki full stack allows us to remotely monitor, manage, and troubleshoot any network in the world, right from our NJ/NYC offices. Without having to be on-site, there is a lower total cost of ownership for our clients and a more robust end user experience.
With new products and features being released regularly, there is no turning back with Meraki. Toolsets like SD-WAN, BLE Beacon, and AMP (Advanced Malware Prevention) we're able so save our clients money, grow their customer interaction data, and create bullet-proof VPN networks (that are stronger than MPLS networks) using only a single suite of products. It truly has changed the game for us at Moo Moo Networks and our clients around the country.
